Board Of Governors

The Unquowa School is incorporated not-for-profit under the laws of the State of Connecticut. The school is owned by The Unquowa School Association, a body consisting primarily of current parents. Under its bylaws, the direction of the school is entrusted to a volunteer Board of Governors elected annually.

Members of the Board, up to 19, are elected for a three-year term. The Board is responsible for hiring the Head of School, setting policy, oversight of operations and strategies, and has fiduciary responsibility for the school's financial welfare.
